Well, the disciplinary hearing's result has been revealed and Joe Thornton received a two game suspension for his hit on David Perron. Mmmm, I've watched the video and I don't know if i agree with this one at all. Hjalmarsson on Pominville? Yeah, definitely agreed with that one, it was completely obvious. This one, not so much. The first angle they show, yeah it looks pretty bad, but that's just like Tanger's hit that he got a game misconduct for (that was later rescinded). Like Joe said after the game, the guy just kind of ran into him, he didn't explode upwards or elbow him or anything
Penalty for Joe? All right, but suspension? Hmm...
