Oh Captain, My Captain!

 Last night's game was just riddled with fights and scrums and the Penguins weren't playing the type of hockey they are capable of. Down 4-1 and just after Morrow picked a fight with Tanger, they definitely needed a momentum booster so Captain Crosby took one for the team - literally - and dropped the gloves with Matt Niskanen.

I absolutely loves that Crosby will fight. I feel a lot of superstars don't want to because they are scared of getting hurt or don't want to miss the 5 minutes of the game and miss out on their precious points but Crosby does what he has to for his team and if that means missing out on the potential of a point that game, so be it!

Best part - I would def say he won! A reporter asked Matt Niskanen about the fight and questioned if the story of the fight was one that he could someday tell his grandchildren. Niskanen replied, "That I got beat up by Sidney Crosby?" Ahahaha, love it



Despite his strong fight performance, Crosby and his Penguins weren't able to battle back from the deficit and lost 5-2 :( That ended their 6-0 streak against the Stars - including a 2-0 record in Dallas.
